Reservations/Waiting List: In order to assure that you receive your desired appointment, we recommend scheduling as far in advance to make certain that there is availability. We work by appointment only. Appointments after 5pm and weekends are the most popular. If your preferred appointment time is not available you may opt in to be placed on our waiting list in case of an early cancellation. Please note, we will always try our best to accommodate everyone, if time allows it. You will only be contacted if an appointment becomes available.
Confirmation Notifications: You may opt in to receive reminders for your booked appointments. You have the option to receive a text or email. Your reminder will be sent out at least 1-2 days prior to your appointment. If our scheduling system cannot contact you, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment date and time to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and potential cancellation fees.
Cancellations: Your hair services are reserved specifically for you. We value your business and in turn ask that you respect our scheduling policies. Should you need to reschedule or cancel, please notify us within 48 hours in advance. Any cancellations with less than 48 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee.
Late Arrivals: We will always try our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, the length of service may be adjusted so as to not interrupt the scheduled appointments of our other guests. We allow a 15 minute grace period starting at your scheduled appointment time. Guests that are more than 15 minutes late are subject to an automatic reschedule. In the case of being tardy, we ask that you call to communicate your accurate arrival time and to verify that we will be able provide the reserved service in a time crunch.
Gift Certificates: Gift certificates are available at our suite. These cannot be exchanged for cash, nor will cash be given in exchange for unused balances. Gift certificates are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Refunds/Returns: Due to the artistic nature of what we do, we cannot offer refunds on services performed. However, we will work tirelessly to ensure you are satisfied with any service you have received in our care. We proudly stand behind all products/tools offered at Opal + Ivy. Should you be dissatisfied with your service/purchase please contact us within one week of your original service.
Referrals/Reviews: We believe that a referral is the best compliment that you could give us. When any new guest comes in for a first appointment and informs us that you referred them, we will then credit your account $10 per every new referral. Google & Yelp reviews also help us get recognized. We will credit our guests $10 off of your next appointment for a Google or Yelp review about your experience and $15 off of a service if you include a photo of your hair with your review. (Limit one per customer).
